BECOME THE WINNER OWN THE STAGE SPEAK-OFF 2024!
Welcome to the "Own the Stage Speak-Off," where speakers from all backgrounds come together to showcase their talent, share their message, and compete for the crown for 2024. This competition is your chance to step into the spotlight, inspire an audience, and take your speaking career to new heights.
On May 29 and Aug 14 there were "Virtual Own the Stage Speak-Off" events where speakers from around the country came together and gave their two-minutes keynote presentations in a competition. Each of the finalists from those two events have earned a spot on stage at this final event of the year.
At this event, there will be one final round. Everyone who wishes to compete will get an opportunity to give a two minute keynote presentation to a small breakout group, after which a vote will take place. After the live event finalists have been determined, every finalist from the current event and the virtual events will take the stage, one will be crowned the winner of Own the Stage Speak-Off 2024!
The overall winner will be crowned the "Own the Stage Speak-Off 2024" winner and get the opportunity to join Marianne on stage throughout next year. They will receive a spot at an international professional retreat that Marianne will host next year, allowing the winner to add "International Speaker" to their resume. The winner will also be invited as a guest on "The Marianne Hickman Show" adding another digital stage to their portfolio.
Your two minute presentation will be judged on the following:
Content: Is your message clear, compelling, and relevant to your audience?
Delivery: How well do you engage the audience? Are you confident, articulate, and impactful?
Creativity: Does your presentation stand out? Are you using innovative approaches to share your message?
Audience Connection: How well do you connect with your audience? Are you relatable, inspiring, and memorable?
During your presentation you are welcome to also have a call-to-action, however, this must be for something that is free. Please do not try to pitch any products or services that the audience would need to pay for. Your giveaway can be in exchange for an email address and/or phone number though, so be sure to leverage this stage to gather more leads to grow your business.
